The virtual course Sleep hygiene and fatigue prevention is aimed at strengthening knowledge and practices that improve rest habits and prevent states of drowsiness and fatigue during the working shift. Through the 70/30 Formula, participants work through ten steps covering sleep hygiene, nutrition, exercise, medical check-ups, interpersonal relationships, recreation, family stability, reporting to the supervisor, self-directed actions and reporting sleep states. The course also addresses recognising the signs of fatigue, the preventive actions that can be applied before and during the shift, and the established protocols for acting safely in situations of drowsiness.

The virtual course Postural hygiene and hand care provides knowledge and practices aimed at preventing musculoskeletal injuries and occupational accidents during the operation of mining equipment. Throughout the course, lessons learned and operational controls are covered, along with the principles of postural hygiene, ergonomic postures for truck operation, warm-up and stretching exercises, as well as the mechanical and chemical hazards associated with the hands and the measures needed to prevent injuries.

The course promotes self-care, the adoption of safe behaviors and the correct application of established controls to contribute to a safe and healthy work environment.
